I am very fortunate to have received an unexpected opportunity to work as an intern (unpaid) in China for six weeks this summer. Big thanks to my Uncle Troy and his contacts in manufacturing. (Thanks Uncle Troy!)

I recently finished my first year at Rochester Institute of Technology studying Manufacturing Engineering Tech. During the summer I will be helping out Miles at a manufacturing plant in mainland China improving efficiency, messing about with more CAD, 3D printing and injection molding and a host of other things.

I will be using this blog to chronicle my trips and experiences in china. Also, because I was lazy, I'll have a few back to back "older" posts to start it off.
